Description

COTTON TWILL BALLCAP HONORING THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS History: In 1968, Darrell Royal and offensive coordinator Emory Bellard installed a new formation at Texas — the wishbone, a triple-option attack that gave the quarterback three ways to move the ball on every snap and almost no way for a defense to stop all of them. Texas went from 18 points per game to 34 overnight. The following season, running the wishbone to near-perfection, the Longhorns went 11-0 and won the national championship, within a few years half of college football was running their offense. Made from sturdy cotton twill and finished with our signature green satin underbrim, this ballcap honors the University of Texas Longhorns.
