Penn State Chenille Logo Cotton Twill Ballcap

Description

COTTON TWILL BALLCAP HONORING PENN STATE UNIVERSITY History: In 1969, Joe Paterno led Penn State to its second consecutive undefeated season — 11-0, with a dominant defense that surrendered just 67 points all year, capped by a 10-3 win over Missouri in the Orange Bowl. None of it mattered, because President Nixon had already declared Texas the national champion before the bowls were even played, handing the Longhorns a plaque on live television. Paterno never forgot it. Years later, he quipped: "I don't know how Richard Nixon could know so much about college football in 1969 and so little about Watergate in 1973." Made from sturdy cotton twill and finished with our signature green satin underbrim, this ballcap honors Penn State University.
