Description

An irrational coin Feeling irrational? It may be a sine to take some deep breaths and trace pi's digits by hand for a calming sensory experience. The number pi (π) is a mathematical constant, approximately equal to 3.14159. It is defined in Euclidean geometry as the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Included: Pi coin minted in solid copper in West Fork, AR Solid Copper - 29 g 1.54 in (3.9 cm) diameter Antiqued patina This heavy copper coin feels good in the hand and the pocket. The copper coin blank is pre-tumbled before minting for a smooth edge and then given an antiqued finish. Each Pi coin comes in its own wax-sealed packaging with useful and useless pi facts. Love the PI coin—another wonderful design by Shire Mint. I looked at the number sequence on the back of the coin under a magnifier, and even the most minuscule of the numerals are cleanly stamped into the metal. Amazing.

This is a great idea to have the answer to Pie anytime just don't eat it. It's a nice size and feels great in the hand. New lucky coin

I bought one of these coins for my son while at the Shire Post Mint shop and he loved it so much, we ordered a couple more for his Math Olympiad teachers. Pi Day is a big celebration for them so this is perfect! Love the products and the excellent service at Shire Post Mint. My order came very quickly and wrapped with great care and a personal touch! Thank you!!
