Description

COTTON TWILL BALLCAP HONORING THE US NAVAL ACADEMY History: Eight days after President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, the Army-Navy game went ahead as scheduled in Philadelphia — a decision made partly because Kennedy himself had attended the game the year before and loved it. Navy entered with a 8-1 record and Roger Staubach at quarterback, fresh off winning the Heisman Trophy. They won 21-15, secured a Cotton Bowl berth, and finished second in the country. It is still remembered as one of the most emotional afternoons in the history of American sport. Made from sturdy cotton twill and finished with our signature green satin underbrim, this ballcap honors the US Naval Academy Midshipmen football program.
