By combining our popular Stone Duffel 42 with our haul bag-inspired Creek Packs, we've created the Crag 40—a climbing pack that's a one-and-done purchase for sport climbers, boulderers and trad climbers who are looking for the ultimate daily driver. With its top-loader design, the Crag 40 provides 40 liters of gear storage, while a full-length side zipper provides easy access. A zippered front flap is perfect for stashing guidebooks, while an internal pocket keeps your keys, wallet and other essentials organized. The Crag 40's top flap acts as a rope strap, so you can conveniently strap your cord to the top.

The Crag 40 is light, simple and great for a day out on the rock. I skipped a star on the review because I know that the pack can be even better. A snap button - like at the bottom of your belay parka - added to the top of the zipper would be a big improvement. I found the zipper slipping open under a full load.

It's extremely durable, the waist straps eases carrying heavy weight, the built in rope strap is extremely convenient, as well as the interior where there are perfect pockets to put your shoes in, phone and wallet, keys, etc. - as well as the huge main pocket for the remaining stuff you'll bring.
