WOOL HOME JERSEY HONORING THE 1935 CHICAGO AMERICAN GIANTS History: By 1935, the Chicago American Giants had been a fixture of Black baseball for nearly a quarter-century. Founded by Rube Foster, the club won multiple Negro National League pennants and two Negro World Series titles during its heyday. The 1935 season marked the end of its run in the second Negro National League before the team returned to independent play and later joined the newly formed Negro American League. Even as the baseball landscape shifted, the American Giants remained one of the game’s most enduring institutions. Made with authentic wool baseball flannel with felt appliqué lettering, this is a reproduction of the road jersey worn by the 1935 Chicago American Giants.
