Yakoda Flashy Foamback Emerger (3-Pack)

Description

The definition of tiny and shiny, our Flashy Foamback Emerger is our go to fly from late fall through mid spring when midges are most prevalent. This unweighted fly has a little extra buoyancy due to its generous dubbed collar and foam wing case, which represent the emerging midge’s legs and the natural air sack that forms as the pupa rises through the water column. Though small in size, midges can entice the biggest and most discerning fish to eat—perhaps the smaller size disarms smarter fish but we’re not going to overthink it. Midges just work. Durability is key with smaller flies and the Flashy Foamback’s UV body is designed to last through several toothy encounters.
