This shirt is definitely soft and comfortable. I ordered the white shirt in small (4' 10", 95 lbs. ) and it fit close to the body. The material used by the snaps is a canvas like material and is a slightly less white color than the shirt itself. It caught my eye but I intend to wear it under shirts. Just a good, comfortable shirt. Not fancy.
