The Reanimator Crew Puff Jacket takes its cue from the belay parka: oversized, seriously warm, and made for the person holding down the fort at the bottom of the rope, usually stuck in the shade. We built ours for the ultra running version of that job. It’s for crewing through the night shift, posting up at the aid station, or throwing over your runner when they come in from a brutal stretch looking like they need, well, reanimating. The ultrahigh blow-fill insulation wraps you in a full cocoon of warmth, and the weight is on purpose. There’s a reason weighted blankets are a thing: a little warm pressure feels good when you’re cold and wrecked. The hood is lined with brushed fleece for an extra bit of coziness, gives you 180° visibility, and cinches down with a single-pull bungee. Hem drawcords, adjustable cuffs, and a two-way center-front zipper let you dial in the fit. The pockets are what really set this jacket apart. Two oversized, fleece-lined hand pockets zip open from the top or bottom, with room for a full box of bars or gels, an umbrella, trekking poles, a small iPad, or a gallon-bag ziplocks stuffed with baked potatoes (your runner likes what they like).
