Description

First introduced in the late 1980s, the Spyderco Harpy remains one of the company’s most distinctive and purpose-driven designs. Inspired by the curved claws of birds of prey and traditional marine cutting tools, its hawkbill blade pierces with the point and draws rope, cord, netting, and webbing into the cutting edge. It was the first Spyderco to pair a hawkbill blade with the aggressive fully serrated SpyderEdge, and it is also offered with a PlainEdge for smooth, controlled slicing. Both use VG-10 stainless steel and the signature Round Hole for ambidextrous one-handed opening. The stainless-steel frame adds a back lock, screw-together construction, a drying vent that doubles as a shackle key, and a reversible clip. As part of our relationship with Spyderco dating to 1989, the satin-finished handle carries our iconic Spyder Web or exclusive Sweeps inlay, finished by our artisans in Santa Fe.
