"Somebody may beat me, but..." Leather Belt

Description

Words to carry with you. We've turned one of Steve Prefontaine’s most enduring statements into a piece meant to be worn, weathered, and made personal over time. "Somebody may beat me, but they are going to bleed to do it" Handcrafted from natural vegetable-tanned leather, the belt unapologetically puts Pre’s words at the center. The natural leather provides a fitting canvas for the message, developing richer color, marks, and character as it’s worn. More than a leather belt, it’s a tribute to the determination and individuality that made Prefontaine an enduring figure in running culture. For runners, track and field fans, collectors, or anyone who believes that what you’ve been given deserves your best, this is a piece with something meaningful to say. Wear it often. Let the leather tell the rest of the story.
