Description

Low-bulk PrimaLoft® Gold insulation keeps hands warm, while a soft wool-blend liner ensures moisture wicks from skin quickly. The outer feels silky soft yet resists wear and abrasion, with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish for protection from wind or wet weather. The diamond-quilt pattern adds a hint of Western style to the mitt’s cool-weather function and a flexible, synthetic AX Suede palm provides reliable grip. Extra touches for comfort include a touchscreen-compatible thumb to keep you connected, a soft sueded nosewipe on the back of the thumb and elastic at the heel of the palm to hold warmth in.

Overall, everything about it is great and I really appreciate the quality. However, I found that the unisex sizing tends to run a bit larger, even though I ordered an extra-small. Additionally, I noticed that the material feels a bit thinner and less insulated than expected, especially for spending extended periods outside in the cold.

I find the mitt to run a little on the large size. It’s more of a lightweight mitt and if I had ordered the correct size I’d probably be singing praises. It does stop the wind, so with the right size for my hand, they would be warmer. I do like the weight of the mitt, great fabric, washes up nicely, has material to wipe one’s nose. I’d give it a 4/5
