COTTON TWILL BALLCAP HONORING THE 1940 SAN FRANCISCO SEALS History: For 54 years, the San Francisco Seals were the city's professional baseball team — charter members of the Pacific Coast League, a franchise that produced Joe DiMaggio, was managed by Lefty O'Doul for 17 seasons, and drew 670,000 fans in a single postwar summer. They played at Seals Stadium on 16th and Bryant, a neighborhood ballpark that also hosted the Giants' first two seasons in the city. In San Francisco, before there were Giants, there were Seals. Made from sturdy cotton twill with our signature green satin underbrim, this ballcap is finished with a felt appliqué logo of the Seals' famous mascot.
