A TRIBUTE TO THE 1950S WINDBREAKERS History: The Philadelphia Phillies of 1950, also known as the "Whiz Kids,” won the National League Pennant on the last game of the season when future Hall of Famer Robin Roberts for the Phillies faced off against All-Star hurler Don Newcombe of the Brooklyn Dodgers. The Phillies would win in the 10th inning, though they went on to be swept in the World Series against the mighty New York Yankees. This is an authentic reproduction of the Philadelphia Phillies satin windbreaker from 1950. Our line of MLB vintage windbreakers are inspired by models from the 1950s and '60s, and use our classic cotton-backed acetate satin.
