Padilla Miami Maduro

Description

The Padilla Miami Maduro traces back to 2012, when Ernesto Padilla developed the blend in Miami during the period when the Padilla brand was closely associated with small-batch, Miami-made cigars. According to Padilla, the original version was crafted at El Titan de Bronze, the well-known Little Havana factory that has produced cigars for a number of boutique brands. The Miami Maduro was conceived as a richer counterpart to the broader Padilla Miami family, emphasizing the deep sweetness and intensity of Maduro tobacco while retaining the Cuban-influenced character that has long shaped Ernesto Padilla's blends. The blend has since gone through different iterations. Padilla says the concept was later taken to Nicaragua and refined, while retaining a premium Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper and aged Nicaraguan fillers. Current versions use filler tobaccos aged roughly five years, and Padilla positions the cigar as a bold but balanced Maduro rather than simply a high-strength blend.
