This season's updated membrane means more breathability built into the same durable PeakProof® 3L waterproof/breathable fabric—tough enough to take a beating and still roll up small in your pack. The fixed hood with a bonded brim fits over your helmet in full-on conditions, while zippered chest, interior and drop-in stash pockets secure your phone, gloves and other essentials. High-set hand pockets ease access when wearing a pack, an RFID pass pocket plays well at the resort, and a slightly longer cut adds coverage when you need it most.

I already knew this jacket was bullet proof because I wear one for work courtesy of Stratton Mt. in Vermont. I decided to get one myself and am totally happy that I did. It's not as crinkly as Gore Tex jackets. Uninsulated fabric is just right to layer with a nano puff for all weather comfort.
