Men's Durand II Waterproof Boot | Cascade Brown/Gargoyle

Whether using it for work or in the mountains this boot is great. It’s incredibly comfortable and broke in quite fast. It can be tight around the top of your foot where the first hooks but has gotten better after breaking them in.

This is my third pair of Durands and my first pair of Durand II. The previous pairs have carried me on hikes across 3 continents plus innumerable local hikes and state park patrols. These boots suffered a catastrophic material failure—specifically within minutes of stepping of a train. The soles did not simply delaminate; the polyurethane structure completely disintegrated on both shoes.
