I have always worn wedge soles in my line of work as a carpenter. The Keen Fort Wayne was a good wedge sole with a toe guard but they discontinued it. The Keen Liberty felt too stiff and clunky and no included toe cap. I tried on the Dover and really liked the fit and feel. I have had 2 pairs of Dover. I wore them until they literally fell apart. I got about 2 years our of each pair, which was over 3000 miles each of walking on concrete and asphalt. My only suggestion would be to make them a little more roomy or flexible over the top of the foot.
