I'm 5'6" 145 lb female and I bought a man's small to use as a lightweight sun shirt. I loved it so much I bought two more, and my husband liked it so much he bought three. I haven't tried the women's version of this shirt, but the drape of this is perfect for me. My husband wore his out for lunch in 90 degree SC heat and humidity and thought it was great.
