A signature U&O design that was inspired by traditional Athangudi tiles commonly seen in South India. Hand block printed in the traditional kalamkari block printing technique using a combination of natural dyes. Kalamkari is a special block-printed cotton textile that refers to the ancient style of hand painting that was born out of the art of storytelling. Making Kalamkari fabric involves 23-steps including treating and preparing the fabric, preparing the natural dyes and finally hand printing with precision and care. Playfully printed on the Lila camisole jumpsuit. A one-and-done summer favorite, the Lila has adjustable spaghetti straps for a desired fit, a scooped front neckline, a dropped crotch and wide cropped legs.
