The Distance 2 L Vest is simple, sleek and engineered for fast-paced adventures. With soft edge binding and stretch mesh construction the Distance 2L has a soft next-to-skin feel. The custom engineered diamond spacer mesh back panel is extremely breathable and made from a soft material that eliminates chafe. Thoughtful pocketing and innovative soft flask storage system provides security for on-trail essentials and improves efficiency when refilling water. The vest has two front pockets that fit two 500 mL soft flasks—which are included. A rear lumbar pocket stores larger gear and a single zip front pocket holds important items and comes with a key leash.

I wanted something for long summer runs when I need some hydration, but not much else. The waffle material seems to deal with sweat a bit better than other finer mesh materials, such as in the Distance 4 and 8. The chest pockets are narrow, but my I can run with my phone on one side, a skinny water bladder in the other, a few small snacks, with another bottle in the lumbar pocket, to swap out. The…
