Even knowing that neroli on its own is a bitter orange scent rather than the sweet kind I'm used to, I was expecting something a little more recognizably citrus here. The actual scent (to my nose) is a little bitter, a little sour (in an admittedly citrusy way), and green almost to the point of being herbal. It's not really my style, and I think a wider range of samples would really help here, but…
