The Clay Smooth Ostrich Boot combines the rugged silhouette of a roper with exotic materials to create its statement-making style. It features a smooth ostrich vamp and 10” leather corded crown shaft. It has a wide R toe—a classic all-purpose style that also dresses up well—and a 1 ⅜” walking heel. Its quality construction includes single welt soles, premium leather lining and a removable Tru-X insole that ensures comfort and support in every step. Our boots are made with the same care and consideration that goes into our legendary headwear, resulting in the ultimate mix of heel-to-toe comfort, rugged durability, and timeless western style. Crafted in the bootmaking capital of León, Mexico—where the tradition of creating frontier-ready leather footwear dates back to the mid-17th century— each pair takes approximately 40 hours and 200 individual steps to complete. They are lasted, stitched and tooled entirely by hand, using high-quality leathers that will develop an attractive patina over time and welt construction that allows them to be resoled as needed.
