V-NECK MESH JERSEY HONORING THE 1927 CHICAGO AMERICAN GIANTS History: The 1927 Chicago American Giants were among the finest teams of the Negro League era. Managed by Dave Malarcher, the club captured the Negro National League pennant before defeating the Atlantic City Bacharach Giants in the Negro World Series. The championship continued the winning tradition established by founder Rube Foster and reinforced Chicago’s place at the center of Black baseball. With their combination of experienced leadership and outstanding talent, the American Giants were a defining force in the league’s early history. Made from breathable knit mesh with tackle twill appliqué lettering and logos, this jersey is inspired by the uniform worn by the 1927 Chicago American Giants.
