But we swapped the drum dyed leather for a goat suede yoke this time around, softer to the touch, just as tough where it counts, and honestly, it might be the detail that makes this one even better than the first. Everything else that made the Basin Jacket a cold weather go-to is still built in. A talon zipper and snap front placket make it easy to get in and out of. A snap-button neck adds warmth when the mornings get bone-chilling.
