The Blue Eyed Jack's Revenge arrived in 2024 as the latest chapter in the peculiar, pirate-filled universe created by ADVentura founders Henderson Ventura and Marcel Knobel. The company, founded in 2016, has built much of its identity around maritime exploration, with each cigar representing another character or episode in an ongoing adventure. Blue Eyed Jack's Revenge follows the 2022 release of Barbarroja's Invasion, introducing a rival pirate plotting revenge against the notorious Barbarroja. The storytelling extends all the way to the packaging. Open a box and a recording of Jack's voice announces, "Small price to pay for the taste of sweet revenge." It is an unusual amount of theater for a box of cigars, but ADVentura has never been particularly interested in conventional packaging. Behind the pirate story is a more interesting tobacco project. Ventura wanted to demonstrate the range of Dominican tobacco, pairing a Mexican San Andrés Colorado wrapper with Dominican Olor binder and Dominican fillers.
