These are my favorite shorts. The elestic waistband prevents a waist gap, while the hips are wide enough to be comfortable. My only issue is that the care instructions are incorrect - they should not be put in the dryer, not even on low heat. I had to replace a previous pair after it shrunk in the dryer.
