Ode Wooden Load Bin Lid

It's a nice embellishment with two caveats: one, I wish there were a darker finish available that would look better with a black grinder. This light finish would look good on a white grinder but not so much on my black one. Also, they did not include the grinding guide on the underside, so if you like that, you have to keep the original around too.

The wood is substantial, quality maple, and I like that it matches my Stagg kettle. I was a bit disappointed by the fit and finish. It's not nearly as smooth as my kettle handles, with some raised grain and a small chip in the top. It also fits quite a bit more loosely than the standard plastic lid. Overall, I'm satisfied enough to keep it, but it could definitely use some better QC.
