Nowhere near as comfortable as the original High Country. The new fabric is stiff and has a raised detail that is very abrasive against the skin.

This High Country shirt is different from their previous models. It is a little rougher on the skin due to the texture in the shirt. I like that pattern, but the fabric texture could be softer

As the other reviewer stated, the fabric is stiff and scratchy. Not relaxed in any way. Neck cut is rather large, and the width of the torso makes it feel like you’re wearing a garbage bag. Envelope style pockets aren’t useful. Snap down pockets or button close ones are nearly always better.
