I live in Southern CA and rarely need a rain jacket, but occasionally, also good to have when traveling. This jacket is the most versatile I've found, lightweight, functional in the rain and good looking as well! I literally returned another rain jacket from a famous outdoor brand that I hadn't worn yet to buy this one!
