Great quality. Love how it sticks in place on the counter. Thick rubber dampens the sounds made while working.

Description
The Tamping Mat creates a steady foundation for one of the most important steps in espresso prep. Made from cushioned, slip-free silicone, it stays put as you tamp, helping you apply pressure with confidence while protecting your counter and portafilter. An integrated indent keeps your tamper close at hand, supporting a smoother, more organized espresso workflow.

Meh. there is nothing to hold the portafilter when tamping. I could have got this from Home Depot. I love Fellow Industrial Design but this is a total flop.
Peter C. · Sep 2026Highly please with the quality of this tamping mat. The size is perfect for tamping and placing other accessories. Aesthetic and goes well with my new Fellow Series ! and two Opus 2 Grinders.
