I ordered the 18oz food jar from Amazon because I needed it almost immediately. The capacity is perfect. It's lightweight and It fits my backpack and lunch totes. What I don't like is the top. Carmen · Jun 2026I purchased this for my children's lunch boxes, and it does keep the food hot, or warm at least. However, it is extremely hard to get the lid off because there is nothing to grip. The lid should have either a grip style texture or handle that can release the pressure that builds up. Can't imagine little ones can open this in their own, and may not approach anyone to get help.
